The deletion of /zellig/, and the subsequent destruction of a potential Zaryan homeland in the Sharty has prompted discussions about a zellig imageboard, independant from the Sharty. On september 22 2023, a thread on /qa/ was held, where the discussion of creating a 'Zellig imageboard occured. In this thread, the domain soyzellig.party was found to be "very cheap" and Zoot decided to buy it and set up an image board with the knowledge he got from ImageBoard setup tutorials on YouTube. Before the site was made public, he used TinyIB-Wippy (a simplified fork of TinnyIB) as the script for the site, since he was too smart to install Vichan (eventho it takes 1 hour MAX). After three days of learning HTML and CSS and realising that TinnyIB-Wippy is too shit to act as a zaryan homeland, Zoot attempted to install Vichan. After 4 more days of somehow screwing the simplest of tasks and reinstalling the script 3 times, he managed to get the site up and running. Before the opening, on the 27th the site was "leaked" on the thread after Zoot posted and deleted it for some reason, where it was found to be a blank website with the rules written on it in orange letters. This page was used as a psyop to deter 'teens from entering the still-in-beta site and spamming it with [[Pedophilia|'p]].

A post on the Zarty revealed that Zoot has made a contract with Godaddy for hosting the website, and that the aforementioned contract will expire on September 26th 2024. Kate was first discovered by Zaryans in late July of 2024, when a post in the now-deleted /raid/ showed some of Kate’s art depicting xer self-insert in love with Mymy. These suspicions were supported by various, somewhat-hidden references to chuddy humor in her art (such as TND crossed out in one panel of a 'toss). After this run-in, Kate would begin posting numerous threads in /zellig/, shilling xer own art. Some were positively received by Zaryans, while others were incredibly coally (the soytran-troonjak-cobson imminent orgy drawing, particularly). Site users were split between those who thought Kate was pvre bait (which would lead to angry replies by Kate and multiple hand reveals), those who thought Kate was a Zarty-saving gem, and others who decided to try counter-bait. This influx of new OC lead to a brief surge in site activity.

Due to jewish dark magic performed by the bankers in Bruxelles, Zoot entered a depressive state that saw him ignoring the zarty and moving forward in life, so basically he was being a fakecel. Kill all fakecels btw. This led to months of uneaseness amongst Zaryans, which often asked if the Zarty was going to shut down or not. Their fears were made true when on July 18th of 2024, the [[Zuz|nuadmin]] admitted to Zoot's intentions of not paying for the renewal of the contract, which would have led the website to shut down on the 26th of September. This was met with an extreme amount of posts requesting to not let the Zarty die, even with a lot of Zaryans willing to buy the website themselves, including the nuadmin. After an agonizing month of waiting, Zoot announced that he wouldn't sell the Zarty so as to avoid it becoming a shithole and that he also renewed the contract, thus saving the Zaryan race.

== New Zarty Order ==
The salvation came with a price, because apparently the Belgian dark magicians weren't done yet. On the 26th of August, Zoot announced the New Zarty Order, which consisted in:

* Rebranding the website from a "sharty zellig site" to something else, probably his 'cord

* /zellig/ and /qa/ being merged in one board so we can all chat happily in #general-zellig

* /co/ and /raid/ being removed

* adding SNCA boards such as /art/, /music/ and /coding/

* making you eat ze bugs

* Total Zaryan Death

Thankfully it was met with a lot of pushback and some of the most extreme ideas weren't implemented. "Most" because some of them still got implemented anyways, like /oc/ as a substitute for the 'cord boards previously mentioned, ACKing /co/ and /raid/ and adding other 'cord features such as the role of artisan.

Kate was first discovered by Zaryans in late July of 2024, when a post in the now-deleted /raid/ showed some of Kate’s art depicting xer self-insert in love with Mymy. Initial reactions were split between amazement and suspicions of the account being an elaborate bait. These suspicions were supported by various, somewhat-hidden references to chuddy humor in her art (such as TND crossed out in one panel of a 'toss). Aside from this initial morbid curiosity, months would pass without any continued observations.

About 2 months later, a thread using a ‘toss made by [[Yosack Jaki|yosACK]] was posted. Notably, it featured Kate’s OC, leading to some Zaryans to comment on it. After this run-in, Kate would begin posting numerous threads in /zellig/, shilling xer own art. Some were positively received by Zaryans, while others were incredibly coally (the soytran-troonjak-cobson imminent orgy drawing, particularly). Site users were split between those who thought Kate was pvre bait (which would lead to angry replies by Kate and multiple hand reveals), those who thought Kate was a Zarty-saving gem, and others who decided to try counter-bait. This influx of new OC lead to a brief surge in site activity.

This comic starts with [[Maya]] looking on her phone during midnight while she cautiously waits for her 16th birthday to start. Once the clock on her phone hits 00:00, she gets a single email from a bot, she then throws her phone and goes to bed. While she sleeps, she has a dream where she’s presented with a birthday cake in an empty, dark room. Before she blows out her candles, she begins to hear whispers from classmates tactlessly talking about her, the voices pile on until she begins to cry. This is likely her recollecting a previous birthday at school. When she wakes up, she gets a bucket and forces herself to vomit to convince her mother to let her skip school. In the morning, [[Coco]] and [[Mymy]] try to surprise Maya with a StroopWafel taart, but when they reach her door they’re stopped by Maya’s mom who tells them that she is sick and has no appetite. Their fears were realized, however, when it was discovered that Gussy had created pornographic art of Lisa Simpson and Mabel Pines with the same child-like proportions back in 2013 on a DeviantArt account. It was also discovered that his girlfriend, who goes by “Meliwelly” in the server, asked for childlike characters in a pornographic game on an itch.io post from December 4th, 2021[https://itch.io/t/1797278/1-question-1-suggestion]. At some point during 2022, the moderators of Massadonië conducted a poll asking members of the server if they thought racist and edgy content should be allowed in the server. 84 members voted Yes and 68 members voted No. After the poll ended, the moderators subsequently kicked most, if not all, of the Yes voters, most of which being internationals[https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/134232408/#q134276257]. Mike, a mod, created an infographic which demonstrated that No voters had far more messages than Yes voters. Grim has posted on the [[Soyzellig.party|Zarty]] on at least one occasion to show gratitude towards [[Zaryans]]’ appreciation of his artwork. == Grim Mymy Collection Thread ==
On December 3rd, 2023, PinoyGOD created a thread dedicated to collecting Grim’s art[https://archive.is/lFDm2]. The thread was one of the most prominent on /zellig/, but was controversial due to Grim often depicting peccant sexual scenarios, including [[Mymy]] sexually assaulting Mats (a character conceived by [[Cam]]), [[Maya]] preying on and having sex with a child, [[Studio Massa]]’s channel logo having intercourse with Mymy’s beheaded corpse, and various depictions of the girls masturbating. Despite the taboo nature of his drawings, the thread managed to stay up for over five months, until one day, when Zaryans believed Grim went too far.

=== Locking of the Thread ===
On April 16th, 2024, Grim posted sexual art of Maya’s voice actor, Robin Barten, on /co/. The three drawings depicted Robin and Maya engaging in mutual masturbation, passionately kissing, and having sex in the scissoring position. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back and a Zaryan made an entire thread complaining about it on /q/ and the thread got locked and moved to /chive/ the following day. Zaryans criticized the mods’ decision to lock the thread, but Zoot defended the choice, stating that the thread stretched the rules, had become too much of a nuisance, and that its original purpose had been fulfilled long ago anyway.

After the lock, Zaryans moved to a previous thread created in November, being same one he previously posted in under the name “the guy who drew these,” in order to continue collecting his art. This thread is still being used to this day.
