The Zelty was originally an inside joke about making fun of the need of soyteens to always have a boogeyman to blame all of their problems on, reaching popularity around Summer 2024, retracing the SMVs of the Jarty.

In practice the Zelty never existed, until on September 23rd 2025 it was discovered that the domain was bought recently under the provider Porkbun, redirecting to a discord server full of self-proclaimed pedophiles and foodists, with an overlap of users from the Jassy. They planned on making the site public on September 26th, but are so retarded that they somehow managed to fuck up something as easy as setting up a site.

Before that date, the users of that server have been IP leaked, doxed, and reported in order to SHUTTTT IT DOOOOWWWNNN, with varying degrees of success. The domain was immediately ban-filtered on both the Zarty and the Streety, and its users banned.

When the site did eventually open, it became a DNB on arrival with negative pph. The only active board was the one for 'p, where pedophiles started to post drawn cp thinking this will make them white and join Hyperborea o algo asi ya kucha aur.

== History ==
Kate was first discovered by Zaryans in late July of 2024, when a post in the now-deleted /raid/ showed some of Kate’s art depicting xer self-insert in love with Mymy. Initial reactions were split between amazement and suspicions of the account being an elaborate bait. These suspicions were supported by various, somewhat-hidden references to chuddy humor in her art (such as TND crossed out in one panel of a 'toss). Aside from this initial morbid curiosity, months would pass without any continued observations.

About 2 months later, a thread using a ‘toss made by [[Yosack Jaki|yosACK]] was posted. Notably, it featured Kate’s OC, leading to some Zaryans to comment on it. Because Kate is obsessed, xhe proceeded to post on xitter about it[https://www.sotwe.com/tweet/1834042587952423423], leading equally obsessed Zaryans to then post a screencap of her tweet to the thread. This culminated with Kate herself posting to the thread. Zaryans then dug up ''Shit No one Cares About'' on Kate, which prompted further discussion regarding the legitimacy of Kate. The ensuing autism caused her to temporarily leave the Zarty and deactivate her Twitter account[https://archive.ph/23B7K].

After this run-in, Kate would begin posting numerous threads in /zellig/, shilling xer own art. Some were positively received by Zaryans, while others were incredibly coally (the soytran-troonjak-cobson imminent orgy drawing, particularly). Site users were split between those who thought Kate was pvre bait (which would lead to angry replies by Kate and multiple hand reveals), those who thought Kate was a Zarty-saving gem, and others who decided to try counter-bait. This influx of new OC lead to a brief surge in site activity.

The strange nature of these posts and sheer frequency of them prompted a couple Zaryans to go complain about it in /q/, which lead to a lot of xer threads being moved to /zate/ (which was deleted soon after due to a critical racebait outbreak). This culminated in zoot implementing the age limit of 16 (rule 8), and Kate being 'nished off of the site completely. A schizophrenic mental breakdown on xer twitter would ensue. Over the next few months, Kate would ban evade at least 27 times before having her entire IP range banned.

== 50 boards plan ==
Froot is notable in the Zaryan's history for continuing the tradition of repressing the 'zellig subculture as his pimp [[Doll]] did before him. When he got into power, he enacted the 50 boards plan, where 'teens would have to compete between which board would stay or not. One of them was a /zellig/ board. The 'teens of that time fought hard and managed to defeat three other boards: /dawla/, /health/ and /psy/, thus giving hope for a possible Zaryan's homeland. Unfortunately this was just a ruse to keep the Zaryans confined in what would basically be a containment board, this becoming apparent when Froot decided to lock the entire board and only giving the possibility to post between three already pre-existing threads. This led to almost the majority of Zaryans to migrate back to sharty's /qa/, leaving the board's fate unknown. After some time, a 'teen asked the board to be unlocked, only for a mod to delete /zellig/ entirely, and putting back on the front page /psy/. == Tranniecord leak ==
In early 2024, a certain hero leaked a discord conversation of Her Majesty and "koot_clitty" making serious claims in support of [[Pedophilia|Jeffrey Epstein]], Her Majesty of Sharty leaking a user's IP in front of them and other questionable shit. This led many to speculate about the existence of a "Frootcord", where the administration goons to 'p and sacrifices 'teens for shekels.

The Frootcord theory was realized when during late June of 2024, an undercover 'affy user acting as a moderator of the Sharty, publicly released "The Frootcord leaks", [https://frootcord.nekoweb.org/index.html viewable here]. The leaks contained a lengthy chatlog of 'cord conversations between the administration of the website, such as:

For any remaining 'teens and zelligposters remaning on the Sharty this was the final straw, leading to a massive migration to other splinters. This also prompted Quote to botspam them, including the Zarty, so that Froot can have xher own safe space and not feel threatened by the evil soyteens.

== 113 boards plan ==
Somewhere around September, Froot once again enacted another board plan, this time sporting more than a hundred boards, and including /zellig/ again. This was probably an attempt to win back all of those posters that left during June, with little success. Since Zaryans luckily don't have the memory of a goldfish, they didn't bother to fight for it. The only complaining party was some hopeless nusoicattle (or probably a Frootcord member) trying to shame Zaryans for not willingfully going back to the fedded datamining website.

== Death ==
Froot eventually retired in May 2025, leaving up the reins to Quote, and then he overdosed on galaxy gas and died.

He took the original domain away with him, meaning that the Sharty can't even be called this way anymore due to being slang for "soyjak.party", thus making the nicknames "Streety" or "Shitty" or "Brappy" more prevalent as to mock the site and its downfall.

Froot left behind what was once a growing and gemmy site in a state of disrepair, raping its culture and replacing it with something worse as the masses of immigrants flocked in to replace the original soyposters. May this be a lesson which outlines how it only takes one bad actor to completely kill something.

Some people started spamming [[Agugu]], generating immense seethe and threads spanning the hundreds of replies. There is also a medium-sized fraction of SoyBooru users that upload 'lig zems. Safe to say that 'zellig started to make a resurgence on Sharty's /qa/ during the 4cuck hack incident. Some sharty zaryans started to post 'lig again and some amount of 4cuck refugees integrated into Sharty and also started to post 'lig. Still if you post an IAS 'zellig thread on /soy/ jannies might leak and move it to /qa/, IAS 'lig gems sometimes get rejected from SoyBooru and a lot of nusoicacas leak at the sight of 'zellig content.
